We are seeing more students and caregivers escalate situations more quickly and more often like never before. No longer can it be just counselors and administrators de-escalating our students and caregivers — we all need to learn strategies to help individuals regulate their emotions.
We also know that the stronger we are as a school community the more our students feel safe, empowered and regulated. Join Kim for a day of discussing strategies to help individuals de-escalate and explore how to create a school community that embraces a restorative approach to discipline while building a strong community where all stakeholders feel valued and seen.
